Description:

If you have a bucket list, adding ATM to that list is a must! This Maya cave system is nothing but, MIND BLOWING! ATM was named #1 "Sacred Places of a Lifetime" Cave by The National Geographic! If that doesn’t explain why you should visit then I don’t know what will.

To get to the entrance of the cave, you must do a 45 minute hike. Once you enter, for the next 2 to 3 HRS you will be swimming, spelunking and teleported back in time to learn about this cave and the great civilization of the Mayas.

Description:

Before reaching your destination, you must first pass through vast oranges and teak trees, as well as a small farming Mennonite community known as Upper Barton Creek. What makes this cave really unique is that you are guided throughout the cave in a canoe! Unlike what the Mayas used (torches), your headlamps and spotlight will guide you as you enter Xibalba. In some areas you’ll pass through cathedral chambers and in other areas you’ll have to tuck your head down into the canoe to go through very low ceilings.

Description:

Located in the Mountain Pine Ridge, this cave is one of a kind. Its grand entrance is magnificent and makes for the perfect group picture. Its entrance is around 600 feet high, where water pours out of it’s mouth unto a ‘beach’ area.

For those that are up for an adventure that entails hiking and spelunking this cave is perfect for you. Che Chem Ha Cave is a dry cave that is one quarter of a mile long. As you journey into Xibalba, this cave is a treasure box filled with a unique collection of Mayan artwork and artifacts.

Location: Frank’s Eddy Village, Cayo Highlands

This tour is not done on its own. It is combined with Caves Branch Zipline. However if zip-lining is not an option another replacement tour can be arranged
